Really? A perennially disappointing live act for me, but I'd be interested in seeing them play this record. Could be ace!

They got a bit pants when they smoked too much weed and turned into the Grateful Dead

Glasgow venue is way too big for the likely audience interest.

All of those venues seem too big, no way they'll fill half of Dublin, but they've said theres no jams on this tour. Just the hits.

And its only the Robinson brothers and a load of hired guns. Good hired guns mind you.

Sub John Peel?

Oh wow, I used to love The Rapture, great live, tight rhythms like this Talking Heads-style number:

🤔

LivenationUK instagram has been pushing pretty blatant Rolling Stones paid ads over the last week so clearly something coming. Although the last I read they were supposed to be doing the States again this year so who knows.

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
