How long are we thinking until these get cancelled then?

Quite a short on sale to performance date given it's arenas. They'll probably still sell to the die hards who either ignore or agree with what he says. Their punishment will be a set heavy with new songs, and very few classics.

No date or venue confirmed yet, but The Streets are doing a big outdoor show in Birmingham this summer. Apparently will be their biggest hometown show

First thought for this was Digbeth Arena but I'm sure that's only around 3500 cap and the promoters have said it's 10,000 so not too sure on a location

Not sure what the capacity was , but they had that Peaky Blinders fest in Digbeth last year; that was outdoors and Mike Skinner played. Hopefully not though because I think it was just a carpark...

I heard word on this about two weeks ago, Bham council wouldn't issue permit, not 100% on this but heard it's actually going to be in West Brom under Sandwell council, lol

Do they still do gigs in Perry Park?

They may do haven't heard about one in a while though but could be a decent shout

Yeah I went to that, they just used Digbeth arena for it and the surrounding streets. Went for Foals there as well and it didn't seem like it could hold 10,000

Doves and Johnny Marr headlined it back in July, plus MADE festival is there now. If The Streets headlined there that would be not far off a dream gig, stones throw from where I grew up

Remember going to a R1 one big weekend there about 15 years ago.

I'm also old enough to remember going to the Radio 1 Roadshow in Sutton Park as a small child back in the 80's.

Splendid news. Can they please be at the farm this year. JP worthy surely.

Aye, would definitely be my preference. Need to get me a ticket for Brighton, good to see them moving up through the venues

Was really surprised at how rabid the fan base was there (in a good way)! Did not expect that at all :)

I interviewed Aaron last year when they played the Haunt, and not surprisingly, Glastonbury is on their must do list.  I asked him again at the Dome in December when I bumped into him, and he raised crossed fingers, so here's hoping!

Got my tickets for the London gig in April!

    • Yes, she can just do stadiums and she's probably one step behind when you could have anyway. How Reading works this year though both top two are headlining with Chase probably more a closer due to darkness after Florence. I don't see Wolf Alice in the part of a top 6. If they go back to pure headliner and subs then yes.

    • Wolf Alice are supporting O-Rod in America soon, right? So yeah, I think as a 1/2 that would work. But equally was there any talk of her doing more touring next year beyond her 10 nights at the O2 or whatever it is?   Certainly, I think WA might take a year off themselves in 2027.
