Only just spotted it but Groupon are doing 50% off deals on MC50 (~£15) and Black Eyed Peas (£25-30) tours; if anyone's looking to kick out jams or get... er... it started on a budget this autumn. Duane Eddy too.

If anyone sticks one up for Slayer, somebody holler. Plenty of seats left there but would rather get in cheaper if possible.

They've been mentioned in loads of the NME etc. headlining odds, bookies favourites, rumour stories with apparently no mention of them on these boards. Maybe they're onto something.

They've been mentioned as headliners a few times, shortly before howls of laughter.

Ah, must've missed them. I'm wondering if someone has heard they're playing and that's ended up making its way to the bookies somehow. Doubt very much they'd be Pyramid headliners but I know nothing about them other than they did Milton Keynes Bowl a few years back but wasn't that a "farewell" show?

Yeah, "farewell" until there's enough clamour for them to return and coin it in a few years later at peak interest. Seems to be the way these days. Oasis will follow suit at some point. It's all a game.

Very much doubt that's the case, seeing as they currently stand at 40/1 and bookies like to hang on to money whenever they can. :P

    • Have you tried Anna von Hausswolff yet? Great singer, and she's from Gothenburg so guess she'll be extra excited to show her skills, especially after she unfortunately had to cancel her early summer dates.    Different style, but Oklou for me was the highlight of Primavera (apart from Geese), really enjoyable relaxed music.
    • A few bigger acts that did other similar festivals this year but not Truck, wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of these (if they're touring):   Reytons The Streets Blossoms Sophie-Ellis Bextor Rick Astley Scissor Sisters Dizzee Rascal   Truck on the undercard seems to rotate a lot of it every 2/3 years, expect to see some of these (if they're touring): Yard Act Sports Team Sea Girls Pale Waves Fat Dog Peace Swim Deep Courting   Hope Westside Cowboy and Radio Free Alice are booked again and get some bigger slots next year
    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
