It's a disgrace that tickets aren't going to the real fans but to liggers, hangers on and media types - scenesters who'rec more interested in live tweeting it than enjoying the music

:fuckyou:

Wait until they do that reggae version of Monkey (Man) Wrench and Neil loses his shee-at.

WAHAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

How you doing Rob la?!

I kinda know as I'm following on Facebook, but you get what I mean!

Are you still Australian? ;-)

I'm good ta! It's tough with the 40+ miles a day, but still on schedule to get to Boston for the marathon, and Maine for end of April. If I can get to Chicago before June, I'm gonna get bus to Detroit to see Nick Cave and Sigur Ros, then try and get a ticket for U2 Joshua Tree! If anyone is wondering what us two madmen are going on about, in a shameless thread hijack, I'm doing the recreation of the Forrest Gump Run! Would love you guys to follow too! www.facebook.com/runroblarun

P.s. When it suits! ;-)

Amazing stuff, dude.

KEEP GOING!

The Facebook updates are looking more like the draft of a book the longer it goes on!

EVERYONE ELSE HERE:

Go to Rob's Facebook page!

Follow!

Go back and read the updates!

Experience a weird feeling of utter admiration and envy!

And give generously!

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
