What if they played Pablo Honey from start to finish, only without Creep? Would that be great?

I'd be all over it if they played added You to their setlists. Don't think I could stomach the whole album though ;)

Its ruined my day if im honest. I cant deal with this uncertainty. THE ONE FUCKING YEAR I MISS A TICKET :sorry:

Same here- they played the first time I went (2003) and I've been waiting for them to return properly ever since. I was thinking of this year's being the last one I go to and it would have been perfect to end as I started. Alas the ticket gods had other plans. Can't fully give up until the resales but it's a long time to torture yourself!

Thoughts on a solo, acoustic rendition of True Love Waits as the final song of the set? Or would you rather it be kept as a super special rarity? I feel like it would be the perfect song to finish on if they never play the Pyramid stage again.

I thought ages back that the album version of True Love Waits would make an amazing set closer, but probably better at one of their gigs than on the Pyramid.

Whopping anticlimax.  They need to conclude on a Karma Police / Street Spirit -style biggie.

Aye, I wouldn't mind True Love Waits closing one of their own gigs but it'll need to be one of the above for Glastonbury.

I think I'd rather the chance of a headline slot if I was in that predicament but I'm not so it's not my position to say.

although the prospect of possibly not getting a ticket/being there is literally terrifying me now that they've been confirmed, yeah, i'm definitely glad we're getting the full thing rather than whatever was being proposed for this year. although an impatient me was pushing for this year to happen, we've waited this long - anything less than headliner would've been a disappointment in the end

I've never really got Radiohead, can someone post a link to a live video that will open my eyes and make me want to see them?

I've had it a few times where I didn't 'get' a band until I've watched a live performance and suddenly converted. For example RATM, didn't used to like them, saw a live video and it opened my eyes to the whole back catalog. They are now one of my all time favourite bands both on record and live.

    • I’d be incredibly surprised if she was in the headline conversation at all. At best I could say a high Pyramid slot but I reckon maybe Other headliner against a rock act like Fender or even Other sub (where I have her in my predictions). I’d say Gracie Abrams is pulling similar if not better numbers to Tate and she was third down on the Other last year.
    • I dont think headliner. Other stage maybe
    • Sophie Williams (journalist and Mercury Prize judge) was on Huw Stephens' roundtable last week, said she'd love to see Overmono headline Green Man. Does feel like it's bound to happen. 2027 is surely on the cards seeing as they're about to release a new album
    • Cat Power Wilco Whatever combination of Avalon Emerson and Aldous I manage to see Ken Pomeroy Sparks with an honourable mention to Neve Cariad
    • Saw em live back in march, and they were bloody marvellous - all flames, ghouls and skulls on sticks. And so tight musically! (i'm a Pleasure To Kill man in terms of albums, mind)
