Weather 2016

Well, it's been lovely and warm all day here in Liverpool - just for another North West perspective  I'd definitely take weather like this for Glastonbury, pleasant but not too much sun, because I'm extra pale and burn.

To add a Scottish perspective, we have had rain forecast all week but we have had glorious sunshine instead. A rumble of thunder yesterday but it was all full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.    I am optimistic.

Liverpool has been  glorious for a week let's hope the whole country gets this all summer

Did any of the weather forecasts, from Internet sites or people on here, get it pretty much spot on last year, does anyone recall?

JackONE is usually pretty spot on and was so last year- he dedicates a lot of time and effort (see the link to his blog in the post above)

Only a few spots of rain in Pilton today, ground on farm is very dry and dusty, security are having to wear dust masks.

It was a really hot day today as well.

It's okay.

The festival isn't actually in Glastonbury, it's in Pilton.

Pretty sure the forecast for Pilton will be much better than that.

It isn't, going by the beeb forecast on postcode BA4. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Since the majority of the forecasts can't even accurately predict the weather that is currently happening, I wouldn't worry too much.

When the iPhone weather app shows rain, that can often mean a 30% chance of light showers for one or two hours of a day.

Unless it's a proper mudbath I genuinely couldn't give a monkeys.

If I wanted to go somewhere with no rain I could be bored in the Costa del Sol for a week. As it happens I'd rather watch LCD Soundsystem with the threat of pissing rain. Bring it on, it'll be a laugh.
