Loved the run of Leftfield>FBS>Hauff>Avery on Saturday night. Biggest surprise was Arielle Free on Glade. Only saw her because was were walking past on Thursday and it was great fun!

Went to little festival in Essex today. 21/22 degrees, cloudy with the sun occasionally breaking through. Felt absolutely perfect.

This!! BBC showing a rain symbol for Saturday but what is actually forecast is 14% chance of rain for 1 hour over the whole day! 1 hour!!!!

The Brooklyn Pilsner was 4.6% at Download, based on the picture someone posted previously.

This is based on the GFS 0z date. Essentially showing what Briddj has just described this morning, in picture form. Metcheck also uses GFS but is ridiculously slow to update - it’s still basing its forecast on last nights 18z run. Once it updates it should like similar to the above.

Will let those more qualified give the full update, however the 00z looking good. Less run in build up light showers Wednesday. Then the rain, as if by magic, completely disappears from the radar Thurs - Sunday! Proper heat coming back in for the weekend too!

A pattern “seems” to be emerging over the last few runs with rain at the beginning of next week (some heavy), then high pressure building from the Wednesday onwards. Not too worried about any rain before gates open, I think the ground can take it and would soon dry out with relatively little footfall.

The bods on the netweather forum seem to be suggesting that the GFS model is the outlier in forecasting unsettled weather. The other models going for more of a settled/hot outlook.

Yeah I’m interested in this. 9 hours back to back over 2 days is a lot of time to fill. Is it all bands or do DJs fill some of the slots?
