So wen do we think this is going to return ? Vote now …

After the resale, they'll turn the cam on and release the map so we can all get ridiculously overexcited.

Every time this thread gets bumped I open it in hope it will be someone announcing  the cam has been turned back on.
Nothing but disappointment. It needs to change soon.

If you see this thread bumped it’s likely to be me and more in hope than anything else … if someone else has bumped it you might be in luck

Nothing is there , was on there this morning, Glasto website, home tab and down on the left . Now the link is gone ! Maybe a prelude to it coming back on line ?

Hope so, we’ve waited long enough.  Missing the speculation when some sharp eyed e fester spots something happening on the site.

Looks like the link got taken away on 4th March on the home page.

Maybe it's not the BBC who will be doing it any more?

It's still on the BBC Glasto Website at the moment, with the Best Shots.

If they are changing it out I hope they get a higher def camera in there....

oh and shift the angle to the left slightly....

Shout out to @MartinCurtis01 on twitter who spotted this.

Fantastic!  Although I'll get even less done now I have something else to distract me!

Looks like Arcadia/Pangea's crane base is still there which I'm happy to see - thought their plan to keep it all year round was rejected?

IIRC, I think it will have to go, but it was OK to stay until the 2020 festival and then...y'know...

However, I am disproportionately thrilled to have that panomax link active again. I don't really use the sweeping webcam, preferring the static image which I can enlarge and move around. Doing that from the moment the fence starts going up is a multiple times a day joy.

They were supposed to take the bottom bit down but COVID has obviously hampered the removal - can't reasonably take it down in the winter when the grass is wet AF, crane would just sink.

What am I doing wrong then? BBC link posted above still gives me the following message:

To respect the privacy of the farm, we’ve switched off the live BBC Glastonbury Webcam for the time being. Instead, you can explore our beautiful archive shots.

That's still on there - BBC just haven't updated their website.

The current image is live and updating - even though the time on the BBC Website is +1 hour.

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
