My Two Cents:

Not going to bother getting tickets. Saw Noel before Macca in 2022 and had a good time. Saw Oasis twice, at Edwards No. 8 in 1994 and second night at Knebworth. So have no real urge to hear those songs live again.

WTSMG is a better album than Definitely Maybe.

My biggest takeaway from this is finding out that Catfish and the Bottlemen are booked to play the third biggest football stadium in Britain??? WTF???

Yep, and its the same night as Oasis are playing wembley, so the dark fruits mafia are spoilt for choice 😄 it was a riotously optimistic venue choice beforehand, and now it looks absolutely demented. Will they even get a thousand people there? It'll get binned off Pearl Jam style, ill be fascinated to see what excuse they come up with

There's the other possibility that it works out perfectly for them - given the audience crossover, a load of people go and see Oasis on the Saturday, make a weekend of it, and stay in London an extra night to see Catfish.

While I definitely agree that it was a hugely ambitious (at best) choice of venue, I'm not convinced that these Oasis shows make it any worse overall.

Anyone see them at Heaton Park in June 2009? I really can’t remember if it was any good or not. I’m thinking I enjoyed Kasabian more?

Yes i was there. Kasabian were superb. I enjoyed the Enemy too but Oasis were great. i recall Liam and Noel bickering on stage. Liam disappearing for spells obviously during Noel's songs. That was part of the drama of Oasis at the time though. I recall walking back to the car thoroughly chuffed with the whole day.

Just booked a hotel near King's Cross for Wednesday 30th July on the basis of that spreadsheet yesterday being right. £125 for a king size room.  Expect it to be announced by 10.30am on Sat then the hotels will go mad.

just spent the morning booking a room for myself and two daughters who are off to see Billie Eilish at the COOP arena on the same date that Oasis are playing Heaton Park.

THere is very little available in Manchester.

There is an artist pre-sale at 7pm on Friday night. If you go in the events page on their Facebook page, there is a pre-sale for every single gig. I've not had any communication from Oasis at all since this reunion was announced though so not sure how it'll work.

How confident are we that there are extra dates? Is it based on those leaked schedules and the initial info about the Wembley block booking?

That and the fact every man and his dog is talking about this.

They’ll sell out 4 Wembley dates in a hours.
