I’m sure we normally say this every year but…. Are we normally this clueless about who is headlining… not only the pyramid but any of the stages

this year we only had like QoTSA for Other right? I feel like we're not long until stuff starts coming through

I was worried about Dilldandin when I saw Reg this year in London but nah, he was quite. He definitely has a different style now that he's cracking on but it was a good time and I'm not even a big fan.

Could have something to do with the father in law buying most of the pints that day, though.

It's worth the queue!!! Try on Wednesday night...not so busy and still a brilliant atmosphere

I was not a fan at all and made it in twice. Felt a bit like gay tourism imo, not sure there were any non straight people actually in there.

Happy to go again as I'm aware I might be in a minority on this or caught it at a bad time.

After headliners until 2/3am it can feel like there’s a conveyor belt of tourists going through the place but I’m not sure when there would have been no gay people in there! Doesn’t match my experience at all!

Yeah someone was told they were booked but they later backed down.

Next year they are doing European festivals so it's likely they will be there

Yeah they dropped out because of the court cases for Josh Homme most likely but that's all resolved now.

Just watching the Reg special on Disney. Man can't sing for shit but god I hope he headlines next year - has the crowd in the palm of his hand.

Yes he did. Great show. Much better than 3 years ago in an arena. Sound was a million times better and I was in the top deck. Clear as day. Although no way it sounds that good in the Pyramid field. I think he would have to cut a few songs though to not make people leave or not have the patience to get to the end.  After Candle In The Wind til Brandi Carlile popped up everyone was going to a piss break or a beer. But at least he wont be doing it like Macca and making you wait 2 hours til you get to what you wanna hear.

We definitely had Billie confirmed.

Yeah it came in together, Neil saying Billie headlining Friday and QoTSA against her on the other. Which in the end was Foals when QoTSA pulled out their tour, but they were never officially announced.

    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
