  1. I just tweeted to The Farm “Does that mean we’ll see you on the farm next year?” And they have liked my tweet. Other stage opener or Avalon stage?
  2. My daughter is doing the same. They are camping in the White camp site. It's quite a walk but supposed to be the quietest of them all.
  3. You're getting mixed up with Blur, this is the Pulp thread
  4. Was at Finsbury Park, my first time seeing them since Reading 2000 and they were outstanding. Absolutely loved it. Only downside was the long queues at the bar, missed Do You Remember The First Time and Babies whilst waiting for a 'quick' pint. Therefore, I managed to grab two tickets for Hammersmith on the Saturday instead as those two are two of my favourites. Should be amazing in such a small venue with the light show etc.
  5. Saw Chris Moyles watching Lottery Winners at Greenpeace. Mate saw Emily Attack

    Beer Prices

A mate who is there walked past Arcadia and a pint is £6 it says on the signs. Was expecting £6.50
  7. Foos would just nudge up to headliner surely?

    Beer Prices

It was £6.50 a pint at Neighbourhood Weekender last month. Went out in Brum on Broad Street on Saturday, not been down there for years and went to Heidi's Bar and they have Happy Hour, 7 days a week 4pm to 10pm and all drinks half price. Couldn't believe it. A £32 Beer Tower was only £16 (holds 7 pints). A pint of Kopparberg Strawberry and Lime on tap was £2.80. Same beer prices as when I was there in the early 2000's lol
  9. All this talk of underwhelming TBA's, don't forget one of them was George Ezra last year so Hozier fits in with that blandness also.

    The churnups

Didn't Emily say this year there is flexibility to move slots for bands? Would make sense to swap RB and Food round but this is mainly selfishly for me so I can see Courteeners too

    The churnups

Feel sorry for Courteeners, would have been packed vs Royal Blood, half empty now it’s Foo’s
  12. Walter's Page went to see them in Cardiff in the week and called it a 'Glastonbury warm-up". They know a LOT of bands and go to hundreds of gigs so I'd say they know something.

    The churnups

Does this rule Blur out if need to be in Dublin the day after?
  14. DMA's are a TBA somewhere.

    Coop 2023

Thanks, just signed up. Bought a pack of ice lollies last year and wolfed them all down. Also had a meal deal for lunch.
  16. Still no despatch email for me yet 😞
  17. I’m no Royal Blood fan, the first album wasn’t too bad but the rest has been a re-hash of that, but surely this puts to bed the myth that ‘Scottish Crowds are the best in the world’ that get churned out every time there is TV coverage of any festival up there. Drives me mad. Every band that gets interviewed, the first question they get asked is ‘so then how was the crowd here in Scotland’. Loaded question every time. When it was TRNSMT a few years back LCD Soundsystem played to about 30 people and that’s no exaggeration. Best fans in the world must surely go to the Argentinians
  18. 2016 was more of a chore than a pleasure. Worst part of it was not being able to sit down on the grass in between bands. We packed up on Sunday morning then watched 4 songs from Coldplay and decided we'd had enough. I was back in my own bed (after a long shower) by 1am and it was probably the comfiest sleep I've ever had.
  19. How good would that be, have a whole bank holiday to go through the listings.
  20. Nothing there for me this year although Badly Drawn Boy could be good. Mind you, after being at every one since 2014 the only time I have been there was last year for Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbot who were superb.
  21. Sunday parking tickets available on See Tickets
  22. Thanks for this, will do the same. Was on O2 last year and it was actual despite it being fine in 2014 to 2019 so I moved to EE. I then saw Vodafone are now the sponsors so will do this as a backup. That all said, I was on the farm last month for a look around and my EE was giving me full 5G stood under the Pyramid, albeit with only me on the farm, will no doubt be different with a quarter of a million people in it with me.
  23. Can't see that when I login EDIT: Can now

    Blur

Single really is superb. Jo Whiley tweeted that the whole album is brilliant as she's heard it. Roll on Wolverhampton a week today.
