I feel like this makes a tonne of sense. Would add up with Idles' tour poster suggesting they're on more than once – the Friday BBC Introducing headline slot clashes with... them, on the Other.

They're all playing Friday, but only Wolf Alice's timings would allow them to get over to BBC Introducing for that slot. Idles likely on the Saturday given the line-up on that day, with Arlo on the Sunday. Matches up with the arrangement on that poster too.

Putting my head on a chopping block. I’ve heard from someone that the 1975 are indeed the special guest.

Source: someone working in artist hospitality this year heard the band is on site.

Tbf you could put them in John Peel and not have to worry about overcrowding
