I was really looking forward to the festival, but as you’ve said this news coupled with all the other restrictions is giving me a bad vibe. I have some drugs left over from glasto which I know are safe so I’m going to risk taking them in. I’ve faced drug detection dogs before and haven’t had an issue, just giving me anxiety now trying to get them in now. I find it funny that they said ‘’Please remember there is no safe way to take drugs’’ is some of the biggest tosh I’ve ever heard. There are safe ways to take drugs just like there is a safe way to drink alcohol which is classed as a drug just not the illicit kind

Has anyone seen their post about drug enforcement? Bonkers if you ask me, they should be promoting harm reduction not scaremongering! Does anyone know how effective these ‘’detection dogs’’ are, is this the first time they’re using them?

I find it funny how they are blatantly ignoring all the comments from people regarding alcohol limits & gazebos. They do need to address this, people will still purchase alcohol regardless of how much you limit them. I'm not gonna sit there all weekend drinking warm cans when there's nice cold pints of craft in the arena to get my lips around 😛 the also don't realise that having a limit on alcohol will promote more drug use as this is easier to sneak in. And in turn that will stop people from buying booze at the stalls.

Was really impressed with Inhaler at Glasto this year, they're a must see imo!

If they increase the capacity then surely they've increased number of staff working, food vendors and even maybe overall size of the festival etc.. to cope with the increased numbers

I was planning to bring 3 boxes of white claw & a bottle of spiced rum. Its me (28) and my mate (33) who are going (not sure how much hes bringing) so i don't think they'll cause much of a fuss over that.

That's understandable really, i just hope they'll let me go back to my car so I can grab my booze as i wont be able to bring all my stuff in on one run. Thanks for the heads up, will definitely stick to the bars that sell pints! If i want a can i'll go back to camp and skull one!

Whats the deal with booze at this festival? Will be my first time at truck. Are we allowed to bring in as much as we want, multiple trips back to the car etc? Can we bring it into the arena like Glasto & Trees?

One thing this thread has a taught me is you don't need to attend university to study meteorology, you can merely get all the education you need from this!

Can't see the 1975 randomly dropping a whole album in 3 weeks time, they havent even teased anything yet so highly unlikely one will be released anytime soon. Would still like to see them play a secret set this year though

BBC mixing is generally quite poor imo, saw them on their uk tour just gone and they were really good. They'll be even better headlining the other stage!
