I was gonna ask, if you don’t like olives why are you in this thread but then I remembered I still go in the Adele thread.

Can't say I'm a fan of when restaurants are like "hey do you want some olives?" so you say yes thinking its complementary (like breadsticks), but then they're added onto the bill at the end

I like the black ones (olives) more. The green ones are alright, I'll eat them but if I'm serving myself I'll go for the black ones. The packets where they're in a salted oil dressing are addictive, especially the ones that come with little cubes of feta. Could eat loads of them. If we're getting into specifics, I prefer the olives when they're more of a purple colour compared to completely black.

This is where I am. Blacks one's aren't very good with the stones out either; ok on pizza like this though.

I read once that Greeks consume an average of 22l of olive oil a year, compared to a brit’s 0.5l. I’ve never checked this fact.

Got some Kalamata olives in my fridge at the moment along with some normal green ones. Not sure about them.

I’d bought them for some pasta dish, can’t remember what it was though. Might need to find something else to stick the rest in.

Ooo I agree about the ones which are a softer texture/brown-purple colour. Those are the ones 😋

I love them… apart from those ones you get in corner shop type places like Londis, they always taste horrendous for some reason.

We keep a jar of green olives in the kitchen, purely for use in Martinis. 
They don’t belong on pizza in our house.
