I presume your joking, but definitely not a nonce.

He was in charge of crown prosecution service when they chose not to prosecute Jimmy Saville, a decision they were later criticised for and that he apologised for. I don't think he was directly involved with the decision, but he was in charge at the time so you could say the buck stops with him.

Personally see it as a minor blight on his copybook, but think there are lunatics on the far right that see him as part of some conspiracy cover up which is ridiculous.

Obviously the timing of Boris Johnson mentioning it was just a blatant distraction from his own problems.

So you’re saying there is no proof behind the rumours that Keir Starmer is a nonce.

But you know, many others are saying there’s no smoke without fire so... I think at this point it’s a bit like Schrödinger’s cat? Since we can’t know for sure, I guess the logical conclusion is that he both is and isn’t a nonce ?

Tories are trying to bring in age verification for online porn again:

Theresa May tried and failed to bring this in. Surprised Boris is going for it. Seems a recipe for people being scammed out of credit card details and/or blackmailed

Its that, or the useage of these sites that do this goes way down from UK viewers and people go elsewhere, reddit, twitter, onlyfans, PornHub will post a report saying usage from UK users is down by x% and the Torys will say they've solved the problem on young people being affected by porn on the internet.

You have to remember it’s all about winning for them. Morals be damned.

That’s it exactly, the Tories don’t really care about what’s happened and the proof is that we haven’t heard about anymore letters going in. They were never going to boot Johnson for this.

There's only one way to settle this - we need to put him in a room with some kids and see if he nonces thems....will prove it either way, once and for all!

It's all fucked though, right? Party is split on this, and Johnson is massively weakened now as he's in his last chance saloon with a lot of his MPs. He may stumble on for a while longer, but I reckon he'll be gone by the end of the year.

The big thing is the May locals that's when those who see Johnson as still an electoral asset get some evidence, if the results are terrible for the Tories then he'll get booted, if they are good for them then his position is safe, if it's somewhere in between then he'll continue to limp on in his damaged state.

100% agree. Tories are ruthless when it comes to electability. If he seems to be a liability he is out for sure. I think there's a good chance it will be bad for them. Everyone please fucking vote.

Our votes aren’t the issue. No matter how much we disagree on other things in here we’re all pretty much onboard with getting rid of the Tories

It’s the vote of the average brit who knows nothing about the implications of their vote and don’t really do politics who are going to be deciding things. They will either do nothing or vote based on whatever their red top rag of choice tells them to.
