How strict do you guys think they will be on the door with tickets? I know they send the ticket to your mobile on the day but was wondering if I rocked up with ID and said I wanted my mate to go in with my ticket whether they would let this happen?

I obviously really want to go but my mate is obsessed with them and I’ve been pretty lucky in getting tickets to Glasto and other small intimate gigs so feels like the right thing to do.

Does the ticket have the name on? I've been talking to someone about logging in to their ticketmaster account in order to use their ticket. However if the names are on them and they ask for ID, that could scupper that plan.

I really didn't fancy my chances of trying any sale. Even with the inflated ticket price.

Was there talk The Strokes might turn up for their own shows in autumn?

The Roundhouse have actually been pretty strict on ID when I’ve been. The most strict I’ve seen from personal experience.

Yeah me too.  Although the Berlin show did have a support; but it was just some band called Gurr, don't think I've ever heard of them before. Heard good things about Hinds though!

So the friend who got me and him tickets now cant make the event but is going to give his ticket to another friend. Is there going to be an issue on the door as the tickets were booked in his name?

could be a problem. lead booker probs has to be present.

i have gotten around this in the past taken a friend's debit/credit card when they're strict with showing ID, saying that i lost my wallet - wasn't an issue

I think the e-tickets will be activated on your TicketMaster account at some point tomorrow. There's no mention of ID needed, just that you'll need to be logged into the booker's account via the app or a browser. That's how I read it anyway...
