would love to see the porn crumpets at reading (not sure its their crowd though). I saw them with the strokes at APE last year in the jagerhaus stage, was absolutely packed we couldn't even see them. (tiny stage to be fair, about 500 people max).

really want to see the chats too, i've loved smoko for 2 years or so now

Saw 'em at Electric Ballroom roughly this time last year. Excellent band.

They’re fucking brilliant, all of a sudden I’m finding lots of new music that didn’t really appeal to me before.

Decided to listen to KIWANUKA and it’s blown me away, exceptional album

Also listened to Loyle Carner, The Ezra Collective and Anderson.Paak all of which I would’ve turned my nose up at before.

“many more stages to be announced” also think this confirms the face to face setup of the stages

Quite good, means you can spin round and see the other act clearly if you are waiting at the front of the other stage for someone else

I made a real quick five minute example of what the two stages could look like if they faced each other:

Wasn't that wrong to be fair. Got ridiculed on here for saying that I thought they were facing each other.

No you didn't. Many people thought that.

They’ll be next to each other. West on the left, East on the right. You know, like a compass.

    • Not sure what this means for 2027 but it looks like Holt Farm's website and email are both now inactive and unavailable.   It'll be a shame if they don't operate for 2027 as it was an excellent alternative to the other off-site offerings.   Fingers crossed they're just enjoying their downtime 🤞
    • Deftones, Blink, Muse?   Deftones as the next bump up makes all the sense, Blink as the "band that has never played before" and round out with Muse as its been a long time since they headlined and they have a new album coming which seems on the heavier side from the singles so far.   I could see Muse do their own tour to be fair, maybe MCR in their place? Could also see Deftones switched out for Slipknot/SOAD depending on who is about.
    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)
