Can probably rule Idles and DMA’s out, they’re playing Sounds of the City in Leeds

I don't see why, bands that play Sound of the City generally still play festivals as well. I don't think the capacity is that big at Millennium Square anyways.

Judging by the usual Sounds of the City crossover there is usually one act that plays both and that's for Manchester version with Capaldi already being there.

I'd hazard a guess that all 3 for Leeds took their own headline gig instead of playing further down this time. The capacity is no different for Leeds than it has been for Manchester's Castlefield Bowl.

Must be with huge supports because they only have a million monthly listeners on spotify.

Assuming you're referring to DBE? If so the gig will sell huge numbers, last time they played London shows they sold out Ally Pally twice

Really? I imagined the Bowl would be bigger. I don't think Millennium Square holds more than 5000 or so, it's not a big area at all.

Anyone else gonna try get tickets for BMTH at 02?

I'd love to see them but I've stopped buying event tickets now with the way things are.

the info I have for capacities is 8,000 for each.

I can't guarantee they're accurate, but I'm pretty sure I got those from from promoters putting on events at each.

Wait is this for all gigs in the near future? If so does June count as soon

That's the standard capacity of those venues (that I've had for years), not necessarily what those particular shows will have.

Oh I see that’s alright then, holding out hope for MCR then

as much as i dont personally like DBE much, their last tour sold out really really quick - am interested to see how fast they sell out arenas; curious to how fast the o2 goes especially

if the O2 was all standing probably just as quick. doubt many DBE fans will want to sit 200ft away

Oh really? I've not been but in my head I thought the Manchester Bowl would have been around 12-15,000.

8K I can see that for Millennium Square.

Thanks for the info.

    • I also dont think Deftones will tour next year.   But I think RIP will have both Foos and Blink and if SOAD fo festivals that will be your 3.
    • Bearing in mind the Maiden point could just be nothing. They should also get Sabaton on second bit if i was them with their stage show I wouldn't take it. It would have to be headline due to how Download program and they won't
    • Nothing wrong about the lineup, which has been great over the last few years. But it just doesn't balance out my experience anymore.   Also, there seems to be a shift in the festival to cater towards US clients? This year felt like a 'cool' version of Coachella for some reason but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.   Maybe I'm just getting old.    Many locals get in for free either via friends of the organisation or just plainly using the QR codes multiple times. I had a chat with many of them over the weekend. They told me it is a 'thing' among locals. You just don't pay Primavera Sound
    • I'm not a Bond fan or anything, just a fella who will happily sit and watch a Bond film - so from that perspective I will say that Brosnan is my favourite, I really love all the ones he has done and can quite happily watch them over and over.   favourite individual film tho is On Her Majesty's Secret Service.   absolutely hate the Dalton ones - I used to think it was just the way he chose to play the character, for some reason he thought Bond should be a thoroughly unlikable person. but actually, Dalton plays this exact same character in every single thing I have ever seem him in... so I think he is either just a properly sh*t actor, or maybe he himself is just a thoroughly unlikable person.   dont really have any interest in any future ones tho... didnt really like the Craig ones.
