Don't need anything that huge for Reading and Leeds. They're at Creamfields to have some colourful visuals for all those raving off their heads. The screens at Reading and Leeds are just a broadcast of what's on stage, and no one wants 2000 square metres of Liam Gallagher's fucking face.

But Josh Hommes is another matter entirely

This is true. I got the feeling from the initial poster announcement that MK was supposed to be main stage and checked his live show out, and something like this certainly seems possible at R+L in 2021.

The stage at self at REading is probably wider than that before you bring the screens into it!

Yes. But to me the UK has tons of 'Editors' cases. Here, The Wombats' last 'hit' was literally also their first one and it was released 13 years ago. They should be up there with Iglu & Hartly and Air Traffic.

Nah not at all. They maintained themselves here for sure.

It's actually completely different to the Editors thing because that's the strange case of a band being bigger in a country that isn't their home (Placebo too). UK bands being big on UK festival lineups shouldn't be a surprise at all. It's more like dEUS or Soulwax.

Placebos are substances that are made to resemble drugs but do not contain an active drug. (See also Overview of Drugs.) A placebo is made to look exactly like a real drug but is made of an inactive substance, such as a starch or sugar. Placebos are now used only in research studies (see The Science of Medicine).

What we all want to see on a 2000 square foot screen

They're both British actually. One by birth, one by citizenship.

Not totally accurate to be fair, molko was born in Belgium and the Stefan born is Sweden. Even the original drummer was Swedish.

What I said is totally accurate. Brian Molko was born to a Scottish mother (yes in Belgium), Stefan Olsdal gained citizenship in 2018 after 25 years here (yes after being born in Sweden). That's all beside the point I was making and I dunno why you're picking at it but yeah, they are both British people.

You seem to be a bit upset about it, you were wrong which you stated above. Neither were born in Britain as you have agreed.

Any way brilliant band, I wish you good night.

Yea I shoulda said ‘by descent’ instead of ‘by birth’. Your determined fact-checking paid off.
