edit: also intrigued to see which way it goes... she could nail it or she could flop. Not been a fan apart from a casual year or two as a teenager but she’s obviously still got a good fan following for a reason, so we’ll see!

The real Kylie has never been famous in America, they simply haven't heard of her.

Meanwhile, fake Kylie (in so many ways) is as famous there as the real one is here because they're the only person with that name.

It's a bit like a British person automatically assuming you're talking about Kylie Minogue if you just said "Kylie", before the fake one had been heard of over here.
