Shame there's no more UK dates but not unsurprising considering they're pulling double duty at Download too. Hopefully the full tour will come in the Winter/early 2024.

Nope!

Will more shows be added to the tour?
No. There are no plans to add additional headlining shows to the schedule for the next two years; the band may make very limited appearances at special events.

To this day, I still don't get what the difference between this thread and the other one is.

You know which one.

I hadn’t noticed that there were two different conversations about the same topic, until you mentioned it. Nice to see that both threads are doing well and that there is no monopoly on live music chat 👍

Other one is more aimed at acts close to Glastonbury I guess. This is just a one stop shop for all tour announcements but I get there's quite a bit of overlap.

Yep, it's in the name.

The other thread is more of a speculative "X might be around for (or ruled out of) the Festival" type thing.

Theyre def adding. They have no shows in the Bay Area. Likely the finale which they could wait on announcing as their final shows and dont want to make a big fuss til its time since the rumors are already out there that this is it.

Finale? Metallica doing final shows? What are you talking about?

Ooh I would love this.

From the Primavera lineup I'd also love Le Tigre, Laurie Anderson, Moldy Peaches and Sparks please.

i wonder if they are going to be added to the Pink/Gwen Stefani BST dates on 24/25th..? They would be a good fit.

Means its Friday at Glastonbury or nothing..

(I now have Brixton tickets as a surprise for my daughters in case.. 🤫👀)

Been waiting for nearly three years for her to tour St. Cloud as it was my fave album of 2020 and was worried she'd skip the UK with it entirely and go straight into a Plains tour (which I'm not keen on tbh), so very excited and nicely surprised to see this!

Ah wonderful!

St. Cloud was fantastic and still a shame she maybe didn't get the credit deserved due to its release date

Agree, it's a superb album. Sadly away for her Manchester gig.

Solo and seated at New Century so assume other venues will be seated. Sounds like it'd be a great gig.

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
