More in line with Tame Impala than Beck, though, I'd say.

Depends who’s on at the same time. Tame Impala were up against things like The 1975 and Chvrches, so that started off with a very small and attentive crowd which quickly and quietly found itself surrounded, like off The Birds.

Think they might do well before AOR forebearers Fleetwood Mac.

Going to see The Killers in Swansea next Saturday. Still no mention of who their support act(s) is/are. Can't find anything online either.

Support acts are normally listed by now aren't they?

So, Queen + Adam Lambert at Wembley and O2 Arena. Does anyone know if it matters whose name is on the ticket? Thinking of trying to pick up a "cheap" ticket for one of their shows on Twickets but feeling cautious

It’s a complete guess, but they had someone called Alex Cameron supporting them on their Australia tour, and he’s also playing Latitude on the day they headline so maybe he’s support for the uk as well?

I doubt if they do this now, I’ve certainly never known them to.

Btw, ever seen them before? I’ve seen Queen in various forms, including with Freddie, and as much as AL comes across as something of a buffoon, it feels like a much closer approximation of a Queen gig than the ones with Paul Rodgers. Go and enjoy!

Yeah I saw Queen + AL last year and absolutely loved it.

last night he came on at 9, and played for about 1hr 40 mins.

I loved it. I thought 'Blind' worked particularly well with the style of band set-up he has (I won't spoil it by saying).

I was quite amused last night, at how the audience got up and danced for the talking heads songs, and sat down for the others. The wife thought it was very rude. :lol:

I was also amazed that few seemed to know Born Under Punches or The Great Curve (the best songs played IMO). Born Under Punches was the only TH song that didn't have the whole crowd stood up (only about half did).
