Does anyone have any ideas on any surprises that could be possible down the order?. The rumours for the headliners are pretty run out and most seem to think Killers and the Cure are on or something else obvious that’s been mentioned. I’m feeling like this year could be the most predictable and boring yet!, although stormzy was a shock but not a good one imo. The other stage I’d imagine will have a top band on the Friday. Looking at the bands touring around this year nothing seems exciting that will play

This is the thread for you. Also check the one called 'Other Stage' - likely that top band you speak of is Tame Impala.

We are lucky that it's just a joy to be on the site regardless of pyramid headliners being to everyone's liking.

I reckon I probably average less than 1 pyramid headliner each year but getting nil from three for consecutive years of 2015 and 2016 probably helped to pull the average down -- now they were awfully dull headliners!

I've been every Glasto since 2014 and only seen 2 pyramid stage headliners, Kanye & Kasabian.

At this point I've stopped caring about who the headliners will be because of the magnitude of acts they have across the festival, I just want the full May line up now ?!

you'll have to wait until at least April for that.

They were the most Brexit-y bands that sprung immediately to mind.

OCS at the Villa Leisure Centre in 1996 was my first gig.

What a venue! I only managed to see them for the first time a few years back at that Beyond the Tracks gig in Brum. Them and The Coral!

Get em both on the farm I say ?

I'd love some OCS on the farm.

Never seen the full band live but have watched Simon Bird on his own a couple of times. Always been a good gig.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
