They've just confirmed for Reading & Leeds as well, so they're doing Festivals this summer! Fingers Crossed!

They were confirmed for Reading & Leeds in February.

I don't think it's conceivable they will not be at Glasto now, with the London and Manchester dates to play the new material for the first time before heading to the farm.

I had no idea Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 feat. Yasiin Bey was a thing.

Just catching up with the thread.

Saw Mr. Bey at one of his Febuary shows in London. Turned up an hour late, no New York Brass Band as promised & didn't put much effort it really. The high points were great, but it was a lot of standing around and being annoyed for most of the crowd. A fight even broke out near me towards the end cause a guy was shouting abuse at the stage. Grim times really.

That being said, I'd be there in a heartbeat if Seun and the lads were there.

Little Steven and The Deciples of Soul added a few more UK and Europe dates. Definitely over here during the festival.

Was that not last years show?

Still only playing Holland on the Sunday. Nothing booked between Manchester on the 17th and Holland the following Sunday?

he's pretty good at writing back to any question on twitter it seems, so it's worth asking him, esp if you ask him for any thoughts/memories about Russycarps and Neil's favorite ever set at Glasto, saturday '09 on the pyramid

Spotify is saying " Jebus, we gots ourselves a must see that we should sure catch before she goes stratospheric"

(nb - early first impression)

Some friends saw Jain at Sziget last year and came back raving about her!

She's added a live band since too.

Played the album 3 times in a row last night.  Great stuff.  She's a must see, hopefully in a similar slot to C&tQ last year.

Oh hello. Halfway through and I'm sold already.

An early slot would be great.

Grandaddy need to be on the next poster.

Saw them for the first time on Monday, were superb. Only concern is they'll likely be Park sub or similar, and we're already looking stacked at that end of the bill this year. They'll probably land on Saturday just to add to that day's impending Clashmageddon for most people

Good to hear, Badger Overlord.

I thought they were fantastic last time at Glastonbury. And although I've seen them a few times, them being on the line up somewhere would be a nice problem to have.

Definitely a good problem. To be fair everyone was predicting Unknown Mortal Orchestra to be Park sub/3rd down last year and they ended up mid afternoon, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that they may end up in a non-clashtacular position

I'm not sure how high Grandaddy's stock is these days after being away so long (outside of their core fans). Hard one to gauge. Mid-afternoon Park doesn't sound unreasonable though. Here's hoping.

Irish Centre show in Leeds was highly enjoyable. Will squeeze them in if I can.

That'd be a cool option but I can't imagine missing anything I actually wanna see for that handful of hits. Tho saying that, Miracle Mile a few years ago was pretty infectious so they probably still have it.

I spy Dr. Dog have announced Birmingham and London shows Tuesday and Wednesday after G, before playing a festival in Spain. I'm not well read on them but what I've heard sounds good and I'd probably delve further if announced.
