Maybe suggests that some London festival has them booked so they're exclusive to that. They were really good at Glasto a couple of years back, hoping they're back there cos I'm not into them enough to pay nearly £30 for them.

Not gonna get that high a billing, and tbh I'm unsure whether a lot of people will continue to give a shit now that the funny dance hype has long gone unless their new material is absolutely banging. High JP or Park maybe, or even lower down the Pyramid

Nah, the casuals would definitely know more Aerosmith. "Don't want to miss a thing" "love in an elevator" "dude looks like a lady" are all much bigger hits than Maiden ever had.

True - but Walk This Way still gets radio play 30 years on, whereas the only time I've seen or heard any Maiden recently in any context was on Sherlock the other night.

Lorde, Future Islands, James Blake, The Lumineers and Dropkick Murphys all announced for Rock Werchter. The last three most likely won't play buy the first two must be extremely likely.
