yr.no update is out and it's a slight downgrade. Some degree of rain every day up to and including Wednesday.

On the flip side, they are predicting great weather from Thursday onward. As long as that part of the forecasts comes to fruition, I'd happily take mud underfoot for four dry, sunny days.

I'm feeling pretty optimistic today. The sun looks set to be shining over the course of the actual festival, so despite the mud, the vitamin D will raise the spirits. And failing that, there's always alcohol. I CANNOT WAIT!

I've doubly waterproofed my jacket and tarp hat today, then cleaned up my wellies and bought new welly socks. I am entirely prepared for anything so trying to stop giving a fuck. I just got very excited that the Beeb had updated and drastically reduced the amount of rain for tomorrow.

 

Then I realised I was looking at weather for Stockport.

Just been at a toddlers birthday party with a friend who works for the met office.  She says they'll be discussing it and releasing their official forecast tomorrow but it's very difficult to predict.

Bang on! It's going to be brilliant, we're going to have the time of our life's and in 8 days time none of us will be thinking 'oh I wish the weather had been better' because our fantastic memories will be based around whatever the weather actually was!
