This any use?

Thanks a lot but this is his live headline set on West Holts a couple of days later.  The dj set on the Thursday is the one I’m after. BBC Introducing stage and on Annie Mac live.

Are overmono confirmed for the festival? Played one of their EPS the other day following all the chat and both I and the Mrs thought it was banging.

We’ve had info they’re there, but then the guys themselves on Insta gave a cryptic response that indicated they didn’t know if they were playing yet.

think most here feel it is highly unlikely that they wouldn’t be playing.

Not heard of Cova Santa before, it looks banging!

The outside bit is good and there is a small indoor club hidden away with decent lights which can be banging.

They have had trouble with the license in the past, so see what this season has in store.

Just booked for a Weekend in August. Was there two weeks ago but the clubs obviously hadn't started yet.

As a clubber this is best thread leading upto a festival.

B2B with Ben Klock, pls!

If anyone can ID this track that I've been searching for since I heard Dettmann play it about five years ago, I'd be very grateful. Ta

That is definitely the 12" mix of You Spin Me Round, by Dead or Alive.

Hope so, his Park set was one of my favourite glastonbury moments of all time.

Watched this on YouTube (a terrible quality rip) SO many times before going out. Fucking brilliant. Wish I'd been there that year!

Jamie on Arcadia or whatever it's going to be this year could be an absolute moment if that happens. Still think one of my favourite sets ever was him at WHP in 2017 (I think). Dropping the Justin Timberlake Lovestoned/I Think She Knows Interlude was genius.

That Essential Mix where his opening gambit was Belfast was A LOT.

The bit from Overmono in their MixMag profile about Glastonbury gives us nothing about this year (screenshot below).

However the significance and importance of the festival to them mentioned elsewhere in the profile, and the profile generally,  are great - https://djmag.com/cover-features/overmono-live-underground

    • No worries, it's a perfectly fair question to ask. I would expect people to be talking at the back & near the bars & that is where I would want them to be talking. If your group are enjoying yourselves & the music & briefly chatting to say how much you are loving a certain song etc, you would be an ideal group to stand behind.   My issue is with people having full blown conversations (usually unrelated what is on the stage) whilst being surrounded by people who are trying to listen to the music. This was happening in the middle and towards the front of all stages, & so you have limited options to move around & you may have spent 20 minutes waiting for the band trying to get the closest position that you can. If there's a group of 8 people, there may be 2 or 3 that like the band & the rest will start talking if the music isn't their thing. This may be the norm now for festivals, and if it is, that's ok & I will focus on a band's own gigs & UK based new music festivals.    I'm also not including consequences of my own decision making. I saw Geese on Wednesday so went to Occident after Men I Trust finished so it was understandable there would be chatting that far back. Similarly, getting to The XX after Olivia Rodrigo along with most of the site, I knew my chance of a good spot & a chat-free zone had gone so that was completely reasonable.   PS. I went to Bilbao BBK in 2023 & 2025 & enjoyed it. For Pulp & Kylie in 2025, I got a position early & was surrounded by a respectful & fun crowd for both. The UK non-headlining bands tend to go on the undercover 3rd stage, & most people like to congregate outside so you can usually get close to the front of that stage.
    • Interview on 6 music earlier, was going to get the album to have a listen, but comes out the day they play the festival
    • Additional dates added already
    • I feel like it's not COMPLETELY beyond the realm of possibility that they could headline but I just don't see it.    They're not doing anything other than headlining. So nah, I don't see it.
    • Consider that the sound quality can be better near the front bars right behind the soundbooth rather than closer to the stage, like with mbv. And of course, the front sections are full of talkers too.   The most courteous move would be to have conversations in the very back of the field.
