A Dutch radio station has confirmed a rock am festival for Glastonbury weekend. Rock Werchter 25 - 28 June

Yup, they've been heavily rumoured for that since the dates moved from the following weekend (when Foos are back in America).

And they're officially confirmed for the Thursday now.

Seems they are being announced for loads of festivals - and all the while the GF weekend stays free rumours will grow and grow.

The disappointment if they are still free and are not playing will be quite big for some.

I don't think I've seen them play a fest with a massive stage show (Wembley the only time with much set up), so it would just be their instruments & gear to really worry about.

Unless they are going all out with Coldplay, Muse etc style shows.

They did Oxegen Saturday, T In The Park Sunday same weekend in 2011. Not a problem for them.

If I manage to get tickets for Wembley this week I'll join you guys in hoping for something good up against them. Would happily see them twice but a PJ Harvey or something would be nicer.

It's really not different at all. By air, Bristol has several daily flights to Brussels which only take about 10-15 minutes longer than Edinburgh to Dublin.

By land Werchter to Glastonbury is actually quicker by about an hour as you don't need to get a (extremely slow) boat.

Mainland Europe is outside the CTA so I suppose you can make a case that it'll take longer to clear customs etc, but I'd assume any large touring band has those issues pretty much sorted.

Their tour seems to fitted around glastonbury for them just to be in the area and available
