Oh. Forgot about her. Maybe but she'd be way more appropriate for Sunday night though wouldn't she?

This is so trivial. :P

more appropriate in tone yes but there's no way Adele wouldn't be the Saturday night headliner in terms of size for the TV audiences etc.

but yes you're quite right it's trivial. not least because after the Band Aid mess I've lost all hope of Adele turning up anyway.

Were Metallica last year's marquee headliner?

don't forget Metallica only stepped into the Saturday night slot when Prince didn't want it - and he definetely would have been.

Band Aid mess? She (supposedly) turned down appearing in an ego circle-jerk. Good on her, nobody seems upset except Bob Geldof. Hardly a mess...

part of the story is that she isn't even answering calls from her manager at the moment. that doesn't sound like somebody who is going to headline Glastonbury in eight months time to me

Sounds like standard practice for someone that doesn't want to deal with the crap being touted about her to me.

All the way through the campaign people who had pledged money were abusive towards people who disagreed with it, basically acting like twats. And just after they cancelled it were demanding to know why and were blaming the foos saying they were only in it for the money.

Don't get me wrong it was probably a minority of people doing this... Barely.

But it was embarrassing to watch from afar, if they'd handled it in a good manner then it would have been fine.

Check out the #nomoretouts on Twitter.

By the way if it was for the fans, why were they allowing you to pledge for 4 or 6 tickets... Was basically asking for touts to put money forward as it was a no lose situation for them

The group who manifested on twitter looked like a bunch of spoiled brats. Now all complaining they can't see their favourite band due to cost despite Mancheser being a few quid more and an hour and a half up the road.

What they actually wanted was to see the Foo Fighters at the O2 Academy and have a guaranteed ticket. All this huff about touts is just that.

Edit: should have said in reference to Iharris92's post about the Kickstarter gig
