This is the worry, or even adds to the excitment of waiting to see Patchwork. Hoping that it's Pulp but there's a little part of you frightened you might not be able to get out in time if it is Mumford and Sons after all.

I really really want it to be Lorde at Woodsies (I'm a Stan)  but would the tour even be ready to rollout by then?  Would they want to televise it on the BBC despite not having had time to perfect yet? The first official tour date isn't until September - that's a huge gap. I feel like it's more likely that she'll show up with Charlie and do a pop up in NYC Downlow or something like that

They def dont broadcast the woodsies opener. So if it was somebody that didnt want to have new material being debuted on television for everyone to see then i guess lil Lorde would want that. Not to say a clip wont make it onto the highlights later on anyway.  And its not like she could care less about whatever show she is thinking of doing on the arena tour and do it in Woodsies. Did she literally not just make a music video that cost next to nothing cause it needed a roll of duct tape and a mound of dirt? Or What Was That costing an e bike rental and an iphone on a gimbal? I think she would make due with bare bones. Why expect arena production. All the reviews will say she was raw and vulnerable cause it was just her on stage and nothing else!! 🙄

If it's a big deal, there's no reason why they won't broadcast it, even if it's on a delay. Pretty sure they have shown the Other opener when it was a bug deal. Kaisers, Beady Eye, Blondie...

Wow..just watching Pulp on Jules Holland..he looked very nervous and not very confident..understandable  but too give it plenty of the pyramid..I'm not sure...anyone else see this?? I'm very happy to be proved wrong !!

if theyre doing a secret set then it was already sorted. People raising their expectations is what shouldnt be happening for an act playing in Woodsies of all places.

Actually thought about this when the 35 minute slot was announced but didn't say anything on here as I just can't see him on the Pyramid. 

 

I know it's very doubtful but I'm just here secretly hoping it's possible. 35 mins would be ideal for him given his health issues.

Absolutely zero chance that Ren is getting a 35 minute set on the Pyramid, especially a TBA slot, which will have people's expectations sky high.
