Not welcome, by whom?

I'd presume if Thom either by himself or in his Radiohead or Smile incarnations made an appearance he would be one of the most popular potential special guests or secret sets out there.

Yeah I agree with that. Anyone angry about things he's said won't turn up so it'll be a slightly smaller crowd than usual but that'd just make it a bit easier for those of us who want to go as I assume it'd be a smaller stage!

Indeed.  Their Friday Woodsies set is a clasher with Jalen Ngonda for me, so the Strummerville set would be perfect

Yeah, their Friday set clashes for me too, so this would sort it! Seeing them at All Together Now in August, but would be good to catch them here as well!

Caveat: I have read that Yessir is the name they use when it's only two of them appearing. So it might not be the full band, it and might not even be Fat Dog material they play. I don't know.

Any confirmation that dj xxyz is jamie xx?

If you open the item in the app it tells you it's Kieran Hebden - Four Tet.

Screen grab top of page 16 of this thread.

BUT that description also talks about a different pseudonym and the performance being on the Tree Stage so could be an admin error. Unclear.

That was one of my guesses, that the stage and crowd is being used for a film. Would have to be someone with Glastonbury connections or a massive star that people would love to see.

My other guess is that it's a politician but that wouldn't need the set up time. Normally you can put them on between acts. There is a lot going on in the world and giving over some time to someone like Warchild would be good (that could include music).

Has the Beatles film started production already? Paul Mescal is already on site.

I think the Springsteen Nebraska film with Jeremy Allen White is filming already.

Glastonbury doesn't really make sense as a backdrop for either, but maybe we're just Generic Very Large Audience.

They are not going to block off a 2 hour 15min slot in the middle of the day so someone can do filming.

But they might carve out a few minutes of the changeover, making it a bit longer than usual. They did similar for 20 seconds of footage in A Star is Born.

Need to get my march on!  Looking like K.O.G. in Shangri La until 11, head up to Strummerville for this at midnight, and then 15 minutes to get down to Cabaret for Wheel Of Four Tunes!

That Strummerville down to SS might be too much of a trial for me, thinking it would be better in my case to leave Fat Dog 15 minutes early.

I'm thinking that it's going to be rammed for Maruja before and most will stay on for Fat Dog

Hmm. That throws it a bit. Might have to rethink their Woodsies set in that case.

Is anyone else going to be disappointed if it is Pulp? Me & my husband will be up at the park instead if it is. (Which it seems to be all but confirmed due to the super sleuths on here)

Not disappointed, but I won't be there, new album is pretty poor on first listen so TVOTR calling.

Chappell however..
