Yes, but he's no longer in the band.

    The Glade 2024

I may just have found my home for the weekend 🙂
  3. Mandidextrous b2b [IVY] is going straight on my priority 1 list.
  4. If you mean the "Here is the first lineup poster" tweet, that's the same wording they almost always use: https://x.com/search?q=from%3A%40glastonbury first line-up&t=pZkDXm4zaxGwNmuvftxgdA&s=09

  6. Don't worry, I think these people are wrong and misguided. But I've realised what all the negativity is about.
  7. Definitely, on the basis of having loads of popular and timeless hits, and a lot of credibility. Sure they're a legacy act, but legacy acts often top the Glastonbury bill.
  8. I've come to understand that, for a lot of people, having some of the world's most famous acts at the top of the bill is what makes Glastonbury special. For me that's not the case, because I'm always going to spend the majority of my time at smaller stages, and I think that what makes Glastonbury special is the enormous array and diversity of acts that play over five days. (And what makes it annoying is the enormity of the site needed to accommodate them all.) But I do get that, if the top three names aren't considered megastars, especially if they make a lot of people genuinely say "I've never heard of them", then it makes people think it's a poorer lineup. Even though we're only talking about three sets out of thousands across the weekend.

    Peggy Gou, Who?

This jealous, sexist nonsense by the looks of it: https://www.magneticmag.com/2020/12/peggy-gou-vs-daniel-wang-sorting-through-the-drama/

    SZA

The Prodigy themselves no longer include that line in the track when they play it live. 🤷‍♂️
  11. Amazing levels of negativism here. Why simply moan that the Pyramid line-up is weak, when you can also moan that this means everywhere else will be OVERCROWDED 😱
  12. Don't think I want to risk not making it into West Holts for Justice. I'll have to swerve Orbital and hope that Nia Archives at West Holts is on top form (which I'm sure she will be).
  13. Anne-Marie is excellent live.
  14. They've got the crappest paywall ever. You just have to click Stop while the page is loading, and you can read the whole article.
  15. I saw 26 (music) acts when I last went (2022), and only five of them were on the first poster, so 🤷‍♂️
  16. I've checked my Whatsapp messages for this: "just to the right of the sound desk - near the disabled viewing platform".
  17. West Holts was not rammed for TLC. We had plenty of space to dance, and that was in a spot with a good view too.
  18. Ashnikko (was on loads of fake posters so I assumed that was based on decent rumours). Soulwax (Glastonbury-sized hole).
  19. My Sunday headliner that year was Lizzo, playing to a crowd of about 30 people at the Pussy Parlure.
  20. For me, this is an acceptable haul from the first poster. I'm planning to try and save myself for late nights this year anyway.
  21. Disclosure have not exactly self-confirmed, but heavily hinted they'll be there.

    Coldplay

    Hooray - I've made it!

    Coldplay

Do you think Glastonbury Festivals Ltd would sell more festival t-shirts if they didn't have COLDPLAY emblazoned in big letters on the top row of the line-up? It certainly means I won't be buying one.
  24. Fingers crossed for 10:30am, when the Oxfam shop opens and they can put the poster in their window and unveil the new t-shirts.
