I think they self confirmed on social media. Expected to be on final lineup when that drops rather than a secret set I think.

Not a clue on that …. Aren’t there still quite a lot of gaps on main stages that haven’t yet been listed … will become clearer when we get the lineup drop in a few days I guess

I'm hoping they are on the line-up when it drops, not unknown for bigger bands to appear only when it drops (QOTSA being the most notable). Saw them last year and they were brilliant as always.

There’s been zero info on either Mumfords or Gorillaz, it’s all speculation before people start getting too excited.

There are 8 slots on Pyramid/Other which are not officially accounted for.  Plus 1 slot on both Woodsies and Park, which may well appear as TBAs on the full line-up.

7 of these 10 slots have been unofficially accounted for (as strong rumours or self-confirms)... the acts are

Lewis Capaldi (rumoured for Woodsies TBA)
Haim (rumoured for Park TBA)
Nadine Shah (self-confirmed Other Stage)
Rizzle Kicks (self-confirmed)

Sports Team (strong hinted by the band on Instagram)
Mumfords (strong rumour for Pyramid TBA)
Louis Dunford (strong rumour - Other Stage)

So there are three slots completely unaccounted for or rumoured etc.  Clashfinder has these as Travis, Viagra Boys and Muete, but has said these are just guesswork to fill the slots, and not based on any intel.

No info as such on Mumfords but there was this interview when they answered the question about Glastonbury very weirdly, said there were some shows they weren’t allowed to announce, and said they were in the US doing shows over that weekend - but their tour dates show last Canadian show 24 June and Dublin on 4 July, so big Glastonbury shaped hole. Yeah but it wouldn’t be the first time a band has been asked about it and alluded to it being a possibility only for them to just not show up.
 

Also just wanted to stamp out the Gorillaz thing as I know where it’s come from and it’s far from solid info or anything like that.

 

That said, both acts friends of the festival types so if there’s a big gaping TBA or fake name on the Pyramid or whatever then they seem like good candidates. Just hope the fake name is obvious so I don’t accidentally turn up to watch Mumfords.

Haha. True. I was expecting maybe 'The Common People' of 'The Disco 2000's'. It would be kinda funny in some ways if they did announce a group called The Common People and it turned out not to actually be Pulp.
