For those who don't know... sometimes the TBAs get announced on the day in the free Glastonbury newspaper.  But I'm guessing no one on here needs to know that, as we all get the info well in advance anyway.

How near to the event do those TBAs on the introducing stage get discovered? I can't seem to remember from previous years if it's pre fest or on the day.

Hoping English teacher end up doing on as reckon that Friday afternoon will be a clash pile up

You’ll know in advance if you look in the right places! Keep checking on here and make sure you follow Secret Glasto on Twitter

This was how I found out about Jack White a few years ago, can't remember who most of our crew thought it would be but that was still a surprise on the day

I think Green Day were rumoured for that Park TBA slot too!  (And a BBC Introducing TBA... and even a Strummerville TBA!)

it was green day for all the casual rumor followers. But Jack White had been seen as a strong contender leading up. And i also think he was apparently just gonna be on main lineup til he wasnt and they sorted this out.

Never in serious contention IMHO. f**king Sports Team kept that rumour going long after it had been definitely debunked.

Edit, sports team made Green Day a rumour for Woodsies in 2022, not Park for 23.  Was even less credible that they were playing in 23.

I think if the current rumours are to be believed then they've done well with the secret sets this year:

Lewis Capaldi on woodsies would be a lovely full circle moment considering I think his last proper gig was glasto 2023. Tent would be closed for that imo.

Mumfords on Pyramid is another big get if they're doing a Churnups. Would also get a massive crowd.

HAIM on the Park I would defo be at. Great stage and great band I've never seen. Really hope it happens. They're obv there in some capacity.

Yes I think all 3 of those would go down well with the Glastonbury crowd (even if not so popular here on efest!). Be great to see Lewis Capaldi back after his emotional 2023 set. BBC have it on their social media as “Glastonbury crowd ft Lewis Capaldi”. We were there and still gives me goosebumps to listen to it. Would definitely be busy at Woodsies for that. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Ct4-97ToJ0O/?igsh=NHFxc2Zzc2x1cTAy

would basement jaxx as a secret set be a possibility ?

Stranger things have happened I suppose but it really seems like HAIM Mumford and Lewis Capaldi (in that order of likelihood). There could be more though, who knows. Will know more tomorrow hopefully.

Couple of logical, if “out there” thoughts:

- chances of seeing Elton pop up at some point during Brandi Carlisle’s set?

- With the new Robbie album being announced (and the cover image being him at Glasto in 95), do we think there’s a chance he could pop up?

latter is a stretch given it would involve a jaunt from Germany and back, but he’s free the Friday and Sunday if the travel works.

Elton - no.

Robbie - no appearance this year, but could see him playing in the legends spot in future.

    • Had a lovely day in Prague now off to the festival. Very excited hope we all have fun regardless of weather!!
    • Iran are winning. If US aren't going to do the full invasion thing, then they may as well admit defeat and do what is needed to get the strait opened. Iran obviously have decided they can take any pain and stick it out as they have all the cards with this Hormuz thing. But obviously Trump can't admit defeat, and Israel just want this to keep going...and maybe it will carry on like this till after elections in both US and Israel towards the end of this year. God knows how the global economy will be by then.
    • All kicking off in N Ireland, all aided and abetted on videos that get circulated on social media and Elon Musk and Tommy Robinson telling people to take to the streets. Social media needs regulating same as publishers, if they have algorithms that push whatever to people then they are effectively publishers anyway. The problem is just going to get worse and worse.
