It's Lewis Capaldi apparently for Woodsies secret set

That would be an amazing comeback and a singalong close to killers levels . The volume that field went to when her played pyramid were amazing to lift him . Shed a tear watching that

I doubt that will happen, he's only done 1 show and that was small with only 6 songs and unannounced aswell. I would expect if he appeared it would be as a gust on another set.

That would be absolutely rammed. He did a surprise charity gig for CALM a week or so ago in Edinburgh I think. He was at the festival last year as a guest.

It would be a lovely way to come back after what happened at glasto last time. Would be insanely busy if it was to happen, maybe busiest since the killers in 2017

Haim on Park Saturday the prevailing theory? Would potentially put them against Weezer if so 👎

Is the Park not a bit small? Is the Park bigger than Woodsies? Be a bit annoyed at a weezer clash too.

Who? The Mumfords, Lewis or fans of either or both?

Neither. I'm speaking conceptually.

Big acts on small stages. Surprises. Catching special gigs that wouldn't happen otherwise.

Dont need to be a fan of any of the acts to think they're generally beneficial things for the festival as a whole.

These days of such swift and ready sharing of info I'm more wary of rumours of bigger artists on smaller stages than before.

As long as they're placed well though no issue

Anyone who posts regularly on here (or OOF) is automatically more up to speed than the general public before the festival starts, and even when there it's always safe to discount the 'I heard Daft Punk are playing in the Salon Carousel' rumours that emerge during the weekend itself.

Aye, but some that folks loved from the past i think would be much more of a challenge these days.

Admittedly I've not been to many - but famously Portishead attempted to play the Acoustic Tent in the afternoon in 1995 and brought all of what is now William's Green to a standstill.

Pulp in 2011 I did see but I just pitched up early into the field and watched Tame Impala beforehand.

the Park stage is smaller but the field is not. You literally have the hill. But the issue is the sound since they dont have repeaters.

I mean I grow tired of the Green Day rumors because they more or less do it to themselves. If they stopped playing in the Uk or relatively close on the same weekend as Glasto you would shut it down pretty quickly.
