Mumfords, despite some folks misgivings, showed at the big weekend that they would be very popular on the pyramid and attract a big crowd.

Failed to get tickets in 2013.

Apart from the Stones, the Mumfords set was one on my favourites whilst watching at home, with the crowd bouncing it looked joyful....

If they are there this year, I'll be there bouncing too.....

I came off Twitter a few months ago, due to it becoming a bot-ridden toxic sewer. Does SecretGlasto post anywhere else?

They do have a bluesky account that has posts up to last month but just looking at both they posted on X yesterday but not on bluesky.....

Mumford would draw a bigger Pyramid crowd than Pulp, this forum is hugely underestimating millennial nostalgia!

It is also seemingly underestimating how mobbed a Pulp pyramid set would be...

Because Coachella is the best and everybody loves it...

I’ve not been but from what I’ve seen online it literally looks like hell. Full of either influencers or rich people that care too much about what they look like.

Like you I've been to most major festivals around the world and the only one I detested was Coachella, I wouldn't even call it a festival, just a souless gathering to watch music.

I don't even get why it's being compared to Glastonbury, when it's got fewer than 10 stages. Compare it to Reading or something instead.

Yeah,  not my thing at all, but at the end of my road this summer we have Iron Maiden, Mumfords, Charli XCX, Neil Young, Duran Duran/Nile Rogers, Alanis Morrisette, Justin Timberlake. Of those, Iron Maiden sold out instantly…Charli took a few days, tickets still available for everyone else except Mumford (who also sold out the day they were released). So, despite the fact that they don’t get much love on the forum, they’ll undoubtedly draw a big crowd.

Not just here, they're very marmite.

I don't know a single person who would tolerate a second of it these days, although they likely saw them in their hey day.

Don't doubt they can sell a big venue, their dreadful shite had a massive following 😊

I'm not a huge fan but I actually think Mumfords would be quite fun.

That’s exactly my thinking, the radio one in the park showed it would be a crowd pleaser.  Also Mrs C likes them so it would be useful when it comes to our delicate negotiations on clashes! 😊😉

You mean cause its 35 every day? Sure, its hot. And the people are hot too. Apologies for having attractive people in an environment that can handle that weather. I like how you think we are all rich when 60% of ticket buyers this year used the payment plan to purchase their tickets. Its not that much different than those people who paid 16k for Yurtel Glamping at Glasto which seems to be totally acceptable for you lot. And youre just saying the rage bait line when you know theres plenty of quality music that happens and wish some of it made it across the Atlantic. 😘

That's the beauty of so many stages and a great line up isn't it.

You can go and enjoy that, whilst I go and see something good 😜

You spoiled it with your last word.  You should have said "that appeals to me".  Why make it what you like is good and what other people like isn't.

Urgh that sounds like a terrible show of largesse.

I'm never gonna have that in me I'm afraid.

I added a wink, wasn't that enough you needy rascal?
