I really hope that Mumford is nowhere near the place. How on earth did they headline?

Dreadful

I can contest, Mumford were better at TITP that year. I think it's close between Mumford though and Ed Sheeran for being poor. Mumford just weren't ready at that point they needed a bit more time, Sheeran just got his sent completely wrong.

No. They’re worse than that bad. Contenders for the worst ever headline booking

If I were the licensing authority I’d be issuing the equivalent of a yellow card. Pull another ridiculous stunt like that and no more license

I think it's fair to say SZA takes that crowd.

Lorde's new album comes out on June 27th. She's played the fest for her last two records, do we reckon she could pop up for a secret set over the weekend? I don't know if there's space on Woodsies?

Maybe with Chazza XCX - and if she's onsite anyway...

it already looks like haim and mumford are locked in, it feels like theres no space for any further, unless one of the 2 get announced.

There's no hard and fast rules on number of secret sets.

OK so this made me think “is this the way they say the futures meant to feel? Or just 20,000 people standing in a field?”

(But then I’m looking for Pulp clues everywhere 😂)

Goosebumps!!! When I saw them at Reading Festival my goodness what a moment

It’s possible but as she’s not been announced for R1 big weekend I think it’s unlikely . Her tour doesn’t kick off until October and starts on the west coast of the USA so I’m not sure she would have a rehearsed band in time.

Obviously the situation could change , but let’s wait for the tour announcement first.

i think Haim is the more likely candidate

    • This!   Biffy Clyro I don't think would ever get asked, I just don't think it us their scene and it certainly wouldn't be a wise move for them after how the Finsbury Park show went. If they ever had a chance of regaining or staying a bit higher up taking Slam Dunk isn't how you do it. For the cost of it now I think being into the main headliner does make a difference though.
    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
    • Not sure if this is allowed, but I have an additional daily ticket which I’m willing to sell for a heavily reduced price. If you, or someone you know wants to go that day, but wouldn’t for the original price, let me know.    Edit: It’s for Friday
    • Couple of standing tickets left on ticketmaster if anyone is still trying
