I am a returner.  Been going since 2009, missed 2024 due to a dodgy postcode....rookie error.

... that said we love a redemption arc so tickets secured by same person who had the wrong postcode last year we  so we are back in 2025!

I hope the crowding issues of 23 are sorted...

That's a great redemption story. Bet they were so relieved to give you the news.

Nowhere near as bad as 2023. Some dodgy stage placements, that made some sets a bit crowded, but in general, it felt better to me.

Worth noting that they were managing it much more strictly though, closing areas and routes where needed, and much more often than recent years. So getting to places early was more important.

It's crap on O2 and Three.

But it's very good on Vodafone and EE. And this year at least, Vodafone gave away free esim access to anyone who wanted it (and who signed up before they hit their limit).

Yeah, now I’ve upgraded my phone (after 5 years!), I have a dual SIM option. Will definitely get an EE or Vodafone SIM for WhatsApp and socials, whilst keeping my O2 SIM for calls.

Also returning...been going on and off since 1990...not so much in recent years due to inability to get ticket or family shite or just being a bit middle aged and boring and more interested in politics threads rather than doing something called having fun. Going with a bunch of fellow mid life crisis sufferers, hope I make it, and hope the weather gods are good to us.

My hubby and I have been trying to get tickets for 14 years. We have finally done it. We don’t care about the line up. We are just excited to be going. Can’t bloody wait!

Not caring about the lineup is advanced Glastonomy. You're going to be naturals. Well-done 😊

Literally everyone on here will remember their first Glastonbury and know that there’s nothing like it. It gets better each time, but there’s nothing quite like your first 😉

My first time getting the coach but as I can’t make it until Thursday this year it actually makes it easier than a GA ticket. CANNOT. WAIT.

    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
    • It's even less funny when in real life too...   Liddle met Rachel Royce and the couple soon became romantically involved.[84] In January 2004 the couple married at a ceremony in Malaysia. They had been living in Heytesbury, Wiltshire, and had two sons together. Six months later, Liddle moved in with Alicia Monckton, a 22-year-old receptionist at The Spectator. It transpired that he had cut short his honeymoon with Royce so that he could be with Monckton. Following their divorce, Liddle and Royce exchanged attacks in the media. Liddle called her a "total slut and slattern"
    • Got our purple outfits sorted.   What's the uptake on the fancy dress day?   Does everyone get involved with that one as well?
