Which is the big dog one?

we worked in a thread started by @Funkyfairy!last year - How is the ground on site ?

Come on, it's all about the weather charts every six hours.ย

THAT'S WHEN IT REALLY BEGINS.ย

bit sciencey for my liking

Is this the official eFests state of the ground thread or the unofficialย membersย of efests state of the ground thread.

Awaiting clarification, cheers.

We only accept official, authorised rain. The unofficial variety is banned.

We are fast approaching the time when everyone on here suddenly become experts in meteorology, soil science and agricultural drainage systems. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‰
anyway, last week the ground looked decent, we camped close to Pilton and the ground was pretty dry, tent pegs went in easily. The forecast looks good which is important for the build and all the movement of heavy vehicles.ย

ooh, that is alarmingly sexy to readย ๐Ÿ˜„ย there's something deeply pleasurable about being able to bung a tent peg in easily, in the knowledge it wont be a nightmare forcing it into arid ground or instantly pulled by a gust of wind cos the soil is saturated . . .ย

I'm willing to stand corrected but I could swear we've had a terrible first 5 months weather so far this year.ย

They just slid in with a few gentle taps of a rubber mallet. Withdrawal was so smooth and easy leaving a thin film of moist mud on the full length.ย

    • All of these were published in July of their respective year. Appreciate the festival is a little later than normal but it must surely be live in the next 48 hours? The first events start in five days!ย ๐Ÿคฃ
    • Took the words out of my mouth. He never misses. ย  Definitely adds fuel to the fire.
    • Gavin Leigh Davis on Instagram, the Fabrizio Romano of tour leaks, says Sam Fender outdoor shows and likely festivals next year. Didn't explicitly mention Glastonbury but adds more to the rumour
    • I think a lot of you guys don't see Tate McRae as headliner material however she was originally billed to play back in 2025 and had to pull out (https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/glastonbury-2025-headliners-revealed-tickets-line-up-1235915362/). She sold out out all of her arena shows in 2025 and just brought in huge crowds at Oshega and Lollapalooza. Given that she's gearing up to release the second album it lines her up for a tour run in her same gap as she's usually over here over Glaso weekend. I wouldn't rule her out.ย
    • Iโ€™d expect U2 & Muse to be options too.ย
