3 long weeks to the album now

I think I’d have accepted a change of musical tone in any direction, as long as it wasn’t more of TBH&C. New one is better than the last one, it isn’t bad, just isn’t very good either.

 

I don’t think any of the last album or either of the two new ones will go down well in a stadium.

I really like the new one, a lot of depth when you sit down and properly listen to it but I can see why it might pass the casual listener by. 
It will be interesting to see it within a live setlist, I’m thinking a few of the newer ones with TBHC in the middle to slow things down before an upbeat finish. Would expect them to have a little touring strings section on stage too which would be cool. I remember they did a version of mardy bum live with strings possibly at Glastonbury (??) and it was really decent

I presume the tickets are a type thay van easily sold on if one decides they can't make it? (Face value of course)

If I succeed st Glastonbury tickets might decide both in same month is too much, however if I fail at least got the gig to look forward to..

Provided there's the demand (which seems like there is), they are able to be resold via Twickets which is super simple.

Anyone have a view on which will system will potentially be more fruitful?

Seetickets via the F5 route without a doubt. Remember you have six/seven minutes to check out so tickets are likely to "reappear" after they are initially shown as unavailable.

Given the number of dates and the size of the venues there’ll be plenty of tickets available for cost price at most closer to the time.

Yeah there’s gonna be a Glastonbury-like scrum for tickets today but they’ll be incredibly easy to come by come June I’d have thought.

London Saturday standing was sold out fairly quick. Went for the Friday instead in the end, not too much aggro.

Is Saturday sold out? I've seen that before with Ticketmaster where one day is sold out so it starts trying to give you tickets for other nights.

Middlesbrough and Swansea the only two to not have sold out, ignoring a couple of shows that have seats close to selling out.
