  1. Think this is a very good point. In theory glamping would be expanded to meet the demand of those who are already going to be there. I suppose it might make more "posh" people try if they know there's more glamping options, but I don't think that was the only thing stopping those types to begin with.
  2. Why did you post this in two separate threads? Just enjoy Elton's show for what it was (an all timer) without needing to bring Alex Turner into it. Arctic Monkeys are not for you, move on and focus on music and front men you enjoy.
  3. Rick Astley playing drums while singing Highway to Hell wins the weekend for me
  4. Everyone around me went absolutely wild for it to be fair. I think it's inevitable at big shows the crowd is can look amaizng or dead depending where the video is taken. It certainly wasn't representative.
  5. Have 2 x tickets to The Beths at Electric Brixton on Thursday the 25th and can no longer go. Happy to give them away for free.
  6. They have: https://www.glastofestfeed.com/news/competitions/win-tickets-glastonbury-2023-national-express/
  7. Worth pointing out the first gig of the Europe/UK tour had probably the best setlist in the past 10 years. Fluorescent Adolescent making its return after almost 10 years. Suck It and See which I'm most excited about. Good signs for the UK tour and Glastonbury.
  8. "To participate in the Promotion, entrants are required to purchase a limited-edition Tony’s Chocolonely bar in store or online (all profit after the cost of the bars will be going to Oxfam)." Reads that you can buy online.
  9. Vampire Weekend 2019 and Lorde 2022 for me. Both on the Sunday so might be something in that.
  10. Hi all, will be trying for Oxfam next week with a couple of friends. Am I correct in my understanding that we can link applications so we can be put on the same rotations? Where do we do that? Does that happen after you're successful in the application? Cheers
  11. Edit: have answered ally questions by reading the Ts and Cs
  12. 1. The Car - Arctic Monkeys 2. Skinty Fia - Fontaines DC 3. Wet Leg - Wet Leg 4. A Light for Attracting Attention - The Smile 5. Chloë and the Next 20th Century - Father John Misty Track - There'd Better Be A Mirrorball - Arctic Monkeys Gig - Macca Glastonbury (top gig of my life... So far)
  13. Yeah they were great. And they played Oh Such a Spring which is my partners favourite song of theirs and one we'd resigned to the fact they'd never play. 6th time seeing them and the only one of those that I didn't absolutely love was Glastonbury this year, strangely. Not sure what it was, but something seemed a bit off. Could have been me though. Was great to see them back to form anyway.
  14. I understand why people may not like the music, but I'm not sure how people can watch this and call it a "snooze-fest".
