Not even remotely accurate until 3-4 days b4 the festival. They predicted some rain for Bearded 2 weeks b4 - it was hottest and driest ever in reality.

Clearly getting all the best weather in the west at the moment. Freezing here today, didn't get above 10 in Ipswich and still really windy. Defo gotta gonna be hot for the festival!

Still looking dry up to June 10th across the models. Avg temp for next 2 wks 18-20c. Some nice breezes to dry any dew.

Not worried yet.

Looked at a long ranger this morning to 15/6 and other than 2 days of possible light showers, it looked perfect.  If it stays dry the next 2 weeks whilst most of the build is ongoing, then all to play for I think.  At least a repeat of 2016 isn't going to happen (thank f**k).

God knows.  I love both tbf.  It's interesting to look at all the data, charts and speculation from the forecasts but ultimately until the tuesday /  wednesday of the fest, there's little reliability to them.  While the ground reports is actual accurate data direct from the source.

Either way, they're lovely ways to waste time when I should be working

I took it as 'if the other thread starts saying wet ground, then can't let it win and we have to predict sun"

But maybe that's just me always trying to see the positives 🤣🤣

Anyway, I love both threads but ultimately I don't care if it's a bit muddy I just really don't want to be cold!!!! I struggle with cold. So I need the predictions of sunshine to keep me positive. The ground doesn't really do that for me. It's just good fun 😊 when will the 6 hourly updates start???
