Is it beyond the realms of possibilities that we'd see Air playing moon safari?
-
2. Isn't new it's been like that for years.
-
I think Go Team! Would be a brave headliner for the pyramid stage, but I would actually go and see them over the other names being bandied about.
-
Can confirm, Greenman sale was awful this year, but in my opinion no better or worse than Glastonbury is.
-
Totally dry? Pissed down on Wednesday, drizzled Sunday. It was a f**king wash out mate
-
Ticket Fiasco?!?!?! wait until you see next years weather... Don't even bother trying in two weeks time.
-
Press back and try again
-
Yeah my ticket numbers would back that up.
-
I got through on an automatic refresh in the end. If ticket numbers are anything to go by, then we only got 284&285 for settlers... Keep trying
-
TBH I prefer it to Glastonbury these days, but perhaps I'm getting old.
-
Got settlers tickets at about 1050. Struggled with payments but had a confirmation email. Keep trying
-
This is bonkers only a few years ago we got tickets a couple of weeks before the event
-
This is as bad as Glastonbury now
-
Ah yes, good point.
-
Never fear the internet is here

It was in the woods, and I remember something kid related, so that could well be it.
-
We caught them on a tiny stage at Kendal calling about 5/6 years ago, I'm really glad to see they're doing so well now. They were thoroughly entertaining.

Hahahahaha I watched his set on the iplayer last night, it was an hour and a half of him unable to annunciate. I'm really glad I gave it a swerve. My wife went she had a great time, but it's a no from me.
-
But... It keeps the dust down?
-
Mrs sprockrock really enjoyed it. I was less impressed, so took the kids to play on the grass outside Woodsies. I didn't mind it, it just didn't really grab me. But on a night bereft of decent headliners this was probably still the best option.

"At 61, Rose's vocals aren't what they once were, but he can still pull off a wolverine yowl when he warms up - and his snarling delivery remains convincingly menacing. (Some TV viewers complained his microphone was too quiet, but in the field he cut through the swathes of guitar like a knife through butter.)" I didn't say it was too quiet, I said he sounded like dame Edna everage "It's only when the riff to Welcome To The Jungle rings out across the Pyramid Arena, a good 20 minutes into the set, that they achieve lift-off" Sounds ace. You've totally convinced me.

Yes, recordings famously don't capture what actually happened. What people think they remember is the best form of history. X

Any I didn't see were the best

This is what I was going to say, only written a lot more succinctly
