Got a feeling mine is either Morning Glory or one of the Shine indie compilation albums that were popular in the mid 90’s. Punksnotdead
Just on my second spin of the new James album & I really like it. Say what you like about them but they still know how to write a catchy chorus.
SwedgeAntilles
Lipstick on the Glass is really good, but man, Last Man on Earth is gonna go off whatever stage they end up on

SwedgeAntilles
Aye, think @dentalplanmentioned it in the other thread, I'm also starting to lean towards Pyramid sub rather than Other. Could see them before Macca or Taylor easily
Hugh Jass
Three listens later and “How can I make it ok?” remains my highlight. Whole thing is great though.
Lubic
New Wolf Alice didn't disappoint. Delicious Things and Greatest Hits my early favourites from the new tracks. That's 3/3 for me now - love this band. Would be great to see them headline the Other next year. Prob prefer that to Pyramid as they played there last time. A potential Elbow moment awaits, especially after seeing how nervous/giddy they were on the live Glastonbury event.
CaledonianGonzo
Those two Little Simz singles are so goddamn good. If the album maintains that standard it's got the potential to British hip hop's equivalent to Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

Yeah I’ve had to stop myself playing the hell out of them in the long run up to the album. Really seems like an artist who’s about to serve up an instant classic. Everything since Grey Area has been solidly 9/10 at least and the new stuff has just taken her to the next level again. By far my most anticipated release this year! SwedgeAntilles
Lennon Gallagher's (yes, that Lennon Gallagher) band dropped their first EP the other day. Its actually... decent.
circus92
Managed to tear myself away from Blue Weekend for a bit and gave Jubilee a few spins based on the comments on here - it's a bit good isn't it? I can actually see these 2 being on my AOTY list come December. Easily the best release day of the year so far

jparx
Apologies if I'm woefully late to the party, but the new Bleachers stuff is sounding great. Hoping that the man of hour Jack Antonoff pops up with Taylor and does a Bleachers set at G next year
dentalplan
This is huge. Produced by Joe Goddard and Al Doyle. Sound of the sommar.
