Exactly - white skinned 'dodgy foreigners' will simply be replaced with brown skinned 'very dodgy foreigners' that they'll be even more angry about.

Muppets.

Crazy thing is most of them want rid of Muslims and have been led to believe its the EU's fault that they are here...

I’ve had a few beers I’ll admit but I’d just like to wish you all a very merry Christmas. It’ll be remembered for all the wrong reasons and we may not all see eye to eye on the current issues the world faces however this place has been invaluable to me over the last 8 months or so.

I’ve learnt things, I’ve laughed and most of all I’ve felt a part of something.

I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2021.

Peace and Love

Joe

You too! I'd like to second that also after a couple of beers -  we all have our disagreements and differences but this is the best and only place to have these discussions in this way. We all want the best for the country, all baffled at the political bullshit and uniquely all have the same end goal that we want to see (Glastonbury), which will only happen when the pandemic is properly handled and dealt with.

And @steviewevie apologies for the multiple quotes 😂 had them queued to reply earlier and forgot

Starmer has lost that election then. Nobody will care by then- there arent enough who are passionate enough to want to change the deal, not that it would matter as he's guaranteed the brexit crowd to vote for the Tories again in the hope it will be "upgraded" for them to no deal at all, when maybe they would have found a different issue

I sometimes wonder about these "opposition" leaders you know...

This “journalism” from Kuenssberg is a disgrace https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-55429840

How the “oven ready deal” election pledge is swept aside and Boris praised for negotiating a deal that was apparently ready last year is such a disgrace. Spinning this as some kind of positive for Johnson and his premiership is a helluva propaganda job. This government can get away with murder. And that’s no longer just a turn of phrase...

    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
