The poster 2020

This is such a weird lineup for me. There's a nice handful of names I like, but I feel a bit disappointed.

I think the 2019 poster was so strong that this one is kinda pale in comparison. Remember last year when Miley was on there? It was MASSIVE... Now the biggest pop for me is Confidence Man.

I don't know if I expected too much or what, but I feel like that lineup is kinda weak for a Glasto lineup. I hope everyone else is happy though!

Have to say I agree. Still absolutely buzzing because it's the best place on earth but yeah, a tad disappointing. All just slightly odd!

Edit - Although the more I look the more I like it...

I completely agree, will still thoroughly enjoy the festival! But just a little underwhelmed

Just personal luck sometimes, 2019 , due to the fact bands dont play every year there will always be some years where its slim pickings for someones own taste. 2019 lacked for me, this doesnt!

Good grief that’s a bloody undercard and a half, and this is only the first poster.

Must try not to get too excited about anyone until the full lineup because it’s going to be clash city...

The wording of Emily's tweet was awesome. What a rollercoaster this has been.

That was the worst tweet preview I've ever had. The way twitter notifications pop up on my phone I thought this is it RIP.

Yeah now I'm getting a picture for clashes and stuff, my girlfriend and I are talking about sending our tickets back and going on holiday instead. It looks like there's only going to be about 6 we'll get to see all weekend.

Not going to act in the heat of the moment though!

    • There's only one date that's not pretty much sold out 😂
    • Madonna lived in the UK for absolutely ages and I think is still largely London-based at the moment.  I'm sure she'll be well aware.     But it wouldn't need to be either / or.  Lots of acts do both  - Glastonbury for the hype and BST for the pay.
    • There is a chance that Norton's reaction was very much like our reaction, because people in this country tend to think 'big = Glastonbury'.   Having said that, though, I'm fairly sure they've gone for her again this time, and it's broken down. Whether it's only just broken down or not, I'm not sure, but I'd air on the side of - they thought they had her, up to a certain point.
    • Yeah, I did wonder if they might be getting too big for Piece Hall now. Wet Leg did Castlefield this year and were subbing them at Tramlines. Wishful thinking! I'd happily see them do another outdoor headline in the north of England, wherever it might be (except R+L, which I'm def too old for now 😂)
    • You've certainly got a bunch of American acts who absolutely adore the festival and are willing to bring peanuts for it. You can never discount The Killers on that basis.
