Leaving south london around ten-ish so hoping to get to pgd between 1-2am. Have done it since 2016 and all (bar 2016) were v fun! Strategy is bring some warm clothes and a picnic mat so everyone can sit down without getting wet and dewy and some beers!

I think some popularity of certain acts can be extrapolated but the demographic that use clashfinder is deffo not representative of the glasto crowd as a whole - looking back at the beginning of this thread and comparing who had big crowds from 2019 v who was popular on clashfinder shows that.

When I did wristbanding the first year I went (2013) my friend and I were randomly picked to go to one of the neighbouring farms where lots of VIPs stay on winnebagos - not the acts themselves but various celebs and bigwigs. For our 6 hour shift on the thursday only about 2 or 3 people arrived and the owner just gave us drinks of pimmms whilst we waited - was pretty sweet, though i was sad not to wristband (EPO bands, nothing more special than that) anyone i recognised!

So if people say on wednesday/thursday that it is not open is that just a con to get you to go away or is it actually not open?

Pennards again - come in through PGD so not too bad, and love proximity to stages, healing fields, railway line etc. Will be joining queue Tuesday night so should have no prob securing tent space for us but we've got a few joining later on the wednesday that may take some strategising

I bought one of those portable showers last year and it was a game changer - fill it up from the water taps then just leave to warm in the sun, then (either with a friend holding it or doing it yourself) you can just shower by your tent. I washed my hair twice over the weekend and showered every day and the feeling of freshness was extremely restorative!

not sure about the co-op but there was a place near park which sold tobacco, only prob was it was amber leaf and not golden virginia...

I think it was the 2019 one for me that absolutely transfixed me - the days of thinking it would be like the somme and then all of a sudden it becomes hotter than hell and we all lost our minds it had me weeping

I remember Glade being absolutely rammo last year on the thursday, would be great for levels to absorb some of the crowd. I wonder how many people will head to carhenge looking for WG.

I usually eat two and a half meals a day, the half either a snack/v light offering from a stall or various cereal bar/crisps/fruit combo. I bring most alcohol so will usually only buy one drink a day max. Usually don't spend more than £200 when i'm there, but that doesn't include everything that i purchase in advance...
