I heard different, but having said that, I think you are more likely to be correct as the band I was told would be headlining disbanded a few years ago.

Wolf Alice were announced last night, at the finals of the Pilton Party auditions, as well as another band "from the 90s who are reforming" who they said they weren't allowed to announce. So you may both be right!

I was there last night.  Wolf Alice are the headline....the other act was announced but on the quiet...

....plus the 2 acts chosen last night who are Sam Richardson & the Renegades, and Pattern Pusher.

Sorry no disrespect but if is for locals as stated.  We had it years ago where it was advertised nationally and the whole village and football pitch where it was held was packed and a nightmare to get to

And the villagers deserve the event and our eternal gratitude after allowing us to descent in our thousands every year.

Just had a friend text me saying it’s Supergrass. 

Hes got no real connections to the event or village so could be utter rubbish, but it kind of fits

Tbh, at £120 for a family of 4 (kids too old for the £10 ticket, but aren't earning enough yet) I don't see the event as much of a thank you. (The free Glastonbury festival tickets, I see as a thank you.) We haven't been able to go since it cost £7 a ticket and was in a marquee at the Pilton Show. So I don't see it as an event for locals; I see it as a fundraiser for locals. The money raised goes to any Pilton group that applies for some - it was the only income the Pilton youth club had while I was running it, and a necessary and needed amount of money for the village, which has several groups and associations kept going probably because of it.

Just thought I'd put in my two penny's worth!

Funnily enough I got the goss on the reforming band months and months ago, but had forgotten all about it. I also know they're booked to play the festival next year.

I reckon peeps will think it's rather super.

Saw Gaz Coombes play the cheese and grain not long ago - he was great! I came away thinking how great a Supergrass reunion would be, went to their last set of gigs where they did all the singles in reverse - it was bloody brilliant.

Does anyone know of any videos of the party that show the outside of the venue to put it in some sort of context of the festival? All I can see on YouTube are videos of the performances, which I'm not really bothered about. I want to see the tent from the outside and what it's like to arrive at the farm for a gig when there's no festival on.

I wouldn't bother going - since this thread went up, I reckon it might take slightly longer to walk across the field to access the event. Nightmare.

Only a photo, but this was 2017
