Does that mean a Sam / wolf Alice clash ? If yes that’s gutting for me - probably my top two bands I want to see the whole weekend . Time will tell 🙂

Word is they are on after each other on the Friday

Well, now we know he's subbing the Pyramid. This will be some moment -

It absolutely will - saw him in Dublin 6 weeks ago and this was one of the standouts (one of many to be fair)

The closing run of The Dying Light > Saturday > Seventeen Going Under > Hypersonic Missiles was off the scale good - if he repeats that run on The Pyramid it will be epic.

Correct, we saw him in Glasgow around the same time, he was tremendous and he is made for a full pyramid field. Epic? Certainly.

Got to say this is fast becoming one of the sets I’m most looking forward to.

It’s got classic written all over it.

It has indeed - personally the only thing I would change is I would swap him with Billie 😉

I also love how down to earth Sam is and how he makes sure its not all about him - his band get a fair share of the limelight as well - they come across as bunch of mates who are having the time of their lives.

And the bloke who kicked Amber's head in

I'd buy him a pint in a heartbeat now

Sorry I just reported this, but my partner informs me it's a joke based on his lyrics, sorry, I completely misunderstood.

No - you're right. It's a joke but probably not a clever or very funny one given the topic so I'll delete.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
