Yup I do, I wouldn't see them over The Cure or Macca though....certainly not the latter.

No same, seen them several times and they have been absolutely unreal every time but.. I'm not sure there's an act in the world I'd see over Macca right now having never seen him. A Cure clash could make me think but the one time I've seen The Cure it was a little disappointing mainly due to them playing for a stupid amount of time. I think a Glastonbury headline length slot would be much better

Still reckon Chems for Fri, Streets for Sat (vs. Macca) and then someone else on sunday (Disclosure/Tame Impala/Paolo Nutini etc.)

Streets vs Macca makes sense...... as it’s the 2 I most want to see!!

Someone said Wolf Alice were offered the Friday headliner spot too.

If that is a go I'd go with Wolf Alice, The Chems and Paulo Nutini.

The Streets are still a potential Pyramid sub as well aren't they?

I really can't see now how they could do that slot, they've has their big comeback and the momentum has died down a bit.

I can’t get understand how the streets are in the running to headline such a large stage. From what I heard he was shite last time round on JP.

Ian  Brown instead please.

On the Friday.

Yeah it’s amazing what a 7 year hiatus will do for them, going from subbing the NME tent at R&L to possible Other headliner/Pyramid subs. Was an average set for their so-called farewell.

I’m going to Wolf Alice tonight which is supposed to be their last show before a break.  Will be interesting if they say anything indicating when they’re back.

If people are saying the streets can’t do it when they’ve sold knocking on for 100,000 tickets in the past year, there’s no way Brown can.

Much more likely to have Brown on JPT, although I would be fairly surprised to see him with a slot that high.

The Stone Roses have been filling stadiums. I know he isnt them, but it bumps his fanbase up a lot.

Cant see him headlining the other, can see him subbing though.... or doing a Liam Gallagher from 2017 & being announced later

Where is this Paulo Nutini for headliner coming from? That cannae happen surely, he's not that big in England is he?

he's passed me by entirely (can't say I know a single song), but i'm pretty sure that he's been one of the biggest UK album-sellers around the times he's released albums.

Same. I'm aware he sells well but thought more in Scotland than down here.

Are you thinking it's likely Neil or not from what you've heard?

someone with connections claimed to have heard something about him playing.

Join that with his agent being close to the Eavii and I'd say it sounds about nailed on.

PS: sells out big shows in England, not just Scotland.

    • They had it last year too, between 3 and 4 pm.
    • I've been told beer will be cheaper until 6pm. Anyone can confirm?   Not like i'll drink more than 1-2 in 38 C degrees.
    • This!   Biffy Clyro I don't think would ever get asked, I just don't think it us their scene and it certainly wouldn't be a wise move for them after how the Finsbury Park show went. If they ever had a chance of regaining or staying a bit higher up taking Slam Dunk isn't how you do it. For the cost of it now I think being into the main headliner does make a difference though.
    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
